Festival promotes family values A festival will open in the capital city of Hanoi on June 26 to celebrate Vietnam Family Day (June 28). The highlight of the three-day festival will be an exhibition featuring a wide range of documents, photos, posters and documentary films on the theme of 'family'. It will introduce the strategy for developing Vietnamese families up to 2020, with an emphasis on traditional cultural values and solutions for sustainable growth. Along with major activities are exchanges on family values in the past and at present, the impact of the market economy on the present-day life, and ways to develop the traditional fine family values. The event will also showcase favourite products and services voted by Vietnamese households on the Camnanggiadinh.com.vn website. In addition, the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will collaborate with the city’s Women Union and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to organize various activities for all family members. |
